As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and/or restricted spaces to help to deter disruptions, support access control practices, and follow site post orders.
• Support daily operations by assisting with visitor interactions, checking credentials when required, and/or communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
