As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in COLLINS, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help support a secure environment through visible presence, access-related awareness, and strong communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as directed by site procedures, and report security-related concerns involving restricted areas, equipment, and/or deliveries.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or facility concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.
