About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Sunnyvale, Texas. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift is a fixed anchor schedule requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may scale their hours up or down, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week.

The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.54 per hour. This is an unarmed patrol and access-verification role supporting a retail and mall environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including sales floors, entrances, common areas, exterior walkways, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security concerns to help deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
