As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors as directed, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
