As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and screening activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor ingress and egress of employees, visitors, drivers, and vehicles in accordance with site policies, documenting security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the orderly flow of package distribution operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
