As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entrances, checkpoints, baggage claim areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Support transportation hub operations by assisting with crowd management, directional assistance, and coordinated responses with onsite personnel during disruptions, delays, and/or other operational events.
