About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for weekend overnight mobile patrol work at a financial institution in San Diego, California. The unarmed patrol officer conducts routine interior and exterior patrols, maintains a visible security presence, supports security-related concerns, and provides customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, is required for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions.
