About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Seattle, Washington, serving clients in retail and mall settings. The officer helps safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment through professional customer service. The role follows site-specific security procedures and policies, responds to incidents and concerns, observes access points and activity, and reports unusual conditions. The position pays $23.72 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
