Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential issues or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and help support security-related protocols for employees, deliveries, and restricted areas.
  • Assist with observing equipment areas, material storage locations, and exterior grounds for hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
