About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual, on-call/per-diem Response Security Officer in Hartford, Connecticut. The role varies by day and special event, with duties that may include customer service, patrols, surveillance, and responding to incidents. The officer must be able to cover the supervisor, GSOC, and badging office functions and have experience in all of those areas. The schedule is not fixed and requires weekend and overnight availability.

The position involves protecting people and property, monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to security concerns, and documenting incidents. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Have a state license if required.
