Temporary Security Officer- Camden
About The Position
Gateway Security, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Security Officer in Camden. The company is a privately held, minority-certified security services provider rooted in New Jersey since 1979, delivering security solutions across diverse industries and communities. The Security Officer will greet visitors, vendors, and clients professionally; conduct interior and/or exterior perimeter tours between seven stations; periodically ride the LRV from Penn Station to Park Avenue Stations in both directions; maintain a daily activity log for the post; and perform foot patrols and post inspections. The position is full-time, second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- College degree or 20 years of law enforcement experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, vendors, and clients in a professional manner.
- Conduct tours of the inside and/or outside perimeters of the client site between seven stations.
- Periodically ride the LRV from Penn Station to Park Avenue Stations in both directions.
- Maintain a daily log of all activities for the post.
- Conduct foot patrols.
- Perform post inspections.
