About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard the client’s employees, members, and visitors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible and professional presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, at a pay rate of $16.48 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Maintain a professional presence, provide directions, answer questions, and support a welcoming environment for members and visitors.
