About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The officer will serve and safeguard clients, maintain a visible security presence, and support a welcoming, professional environment through customer service, patrols, incident response, access monitoring, and documentation. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 2:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. and pays $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment depending on state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office, laboratory, parking, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Maintain a visible security presence while supporting a professional environment for personnel and guests.
