Security Officer Full Time - Patrol Driver

About The Position

As a full-time Driving Unarmed Security Officer in Gardena, California, you will help safeguard clients across assigned locations. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and help support a welcoming environment. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The schedule is daytime, with shifts Monday 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Saturday 12:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m., and Sunday 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and report security-related concerns.
Provide customer service and communicate professionally with visitors and team members.
