About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a residential community in Irvine, California. The officer will help safeguard residents, visitors, and property by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. The role emphasizes reliable communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The pay rate is $22.25 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and the surrounding property perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, deter unauthorized entry, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, resident and visitor inquiries, and emergency communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the residential community.
