About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a chemical and petrochemical facility in Baytown, Texas. The officer will safeguard the client by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas and access points, and providing customer service and professional communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The position pays $19.75 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and location-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to location requirements, documenting observations and reporting concerns.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.
