About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time enhanced Security Officer Driver Patrol Inspection in Katy, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a required six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary as additional shifts are accepted, with the opportunity to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The position is at a technology-focused location and pays $17.26 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, provide directions, and escalate access-related concerns as needed.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation using required systems and communication tools.
