About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer conducting vehicle patrols at a retail location in Temple, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard clients, shoppers, and staff. You will drive routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and security-related activities according to site procedures.
