As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
