About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for airport terminal patrols at a government airport location in Manchester, New Hampshire. The unarmed officer will help safeguard travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. The role includes reporting security concerns, responding professionally to site needs, and supporting a welcoming environment.

The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.24 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and drug screen, subject to applicable laws. A security-related license is preferred; licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local security licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
