About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Emergency Support in Bordentown, New Jersey. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours and potentially build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The position pays $21.00 per hour and has a scheduled shift on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The officer provides security and customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Duties include following site policies and procedures, responding to emergencies, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and documenting and communicating relevant activity. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require a minimum age of 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
