Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol officer for a driving post at a busy airport in Sacramento, California. The officer will safeguard clients and help maintain a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff through routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, and clear communication. The role includes responding calmly to security concerns and emergencies while following site-specific procedures and policies. Work is scheduled for daytime shifts on Mondays and Saturdays, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Applicable licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible security presence and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff.
- Use clear communication when responding to security-related concerns.
