Security Officer - Rochester, NY
About The Position
Securitas Security is looking to hire both full and part time guards for locations throughout Rochester and the surrounding area. Candidates should have their own reliable means of transportation as public transport does not operate during required shift start/end times. Some positions will require a valid NYS driver's license and require candidates to meet the needs of the Securitas Safe Drive program due to utilizing a company vehicle while on site. Those who are interested in applying should be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. Duties will include customer service, report writing, interior and exterior foot patrols, camera monitoring and emergency response. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
