About The Position

We are currently building a candidate pool for two upcoming Security Officer openings at a warehouse facility in Amsterdam, NY. These roles offer set schedules and consistent hours with a small team environment. Both positions pay $17.75 per hour. Position 1: Saturday-Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hours/week) Position 2: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hours/week). These opportunities are ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and solid judgment while maintaining a secure and professional environment. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Strong communication skills

Comfort with CCTV systems and basic reporting tasks

Nice To Haves

Prior security experience preferred, but not required
Retail, food service or hospitality industry background

Responsibilities

Control truck and vehicle access; maintain accurate logs
Monitor CCTV and observe site activity to ensure a safe environment
Sign in/out visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel
Complete clear, handwritten reports and documentation
Follow all established security procedures consistently
Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers
