About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a healthcare facility in Pasadena, California. The officer will help provide a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and contractors through visible patrols, access monitoring, customer service, and professional responses to security concerns. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, at a pay rate of $18.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, including medical-related emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and direct visitors, staff, and vendors according to site-specific access procedures.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and irregularities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
