About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA. As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control, badge checks, and routine site operations while following post orders, maintaining detailed activity logs, and assisting with security-related response procedures during medical and/or facility emergencies.
