About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Lexington MA. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM. Starting Pay is $22.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidate Must Have a Valid Drivers License. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture with integrity and care.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and following post orders, incident reporting procedures, and client location protocols.
