Security Officer Full Time Visitor Management
About The Position
As a Security Officer in Visitor Management at a logistics and distribution location in Riverside, California, you will help safeguard the client site by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication to personnel, drivers, visitors, and delivery partners while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is full time and pays $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and delivery partners by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
- Screen incoming and outgoing traffic according to site procedures, including checking identification, documenting deliveries, and directing drivers to designated areas.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
