About The Position

As a Security Officer Overnight Biopharmaceutical Company Patrol Driver in San Diego, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. At a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The position is full-time and pays $23.18 per hour. Scheduled shifts are Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols for a healthcare and life sciences location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter; document observations and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Help maintain a professional, controlled environment while supporting applicable regulatory and confidentiality expectations.
