As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Possess CPR certification, preferred.
  • Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking locations, access points, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Report maintenance concerns, unusual activity, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
