About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Issuance in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with site entry requirements, including required personal protective equipment and restricted-area access protocols, while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
