As a Security Officer Medical Patrol Driver in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate staff and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, and waiting areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or report concerns according to site procedures.
  • Document incidents, disturbances, and/or policy-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as appropriate.
