As a Security Officer Clinical Response Patrol in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, identify unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and policy compliance in a professional manner.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing assigned reports related to daily activities and/or incidents.
