As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Two Years Experience in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Using teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach, you will help maintain a welcoming environment while documenting observations and communicating professionally.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
