Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Duties

About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Fontana, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. You will communicate with team members and visitors and support daily operations with integrity and reliability. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Licensing may be required prior to employment, depending on state and local requirements.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
Document observations, incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns through required reports and communication channels.
