About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer and patrol driver in Anchorage, Alaska, you will safeguard clients at commercial real estate locations. You will monitor and patrol properties, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide customer service. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report unusual conditions, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
