About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Wilmington, Delaware, to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, documenting and reporting unauthorized access attempts and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
