About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Security Officer – Response for varying sites and special events in Sacramento, California. Duties may vary from day to day and include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The officer must adapt to changing assignments while maintaining security and responding to incidents or potential threats.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
