As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination in Vienna, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Using computer or tablet systems, you will document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
