As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Coordination in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and support visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help maintain an orderly environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
