Requirements

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout assigned locations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, transit personnel, and emergency responders regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns.
