About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for armed mobile patrol at a financial institution in Cleveland, Ohio. The position provides a designated site and fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The posted schedule is Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. The role includes responding to incidents and alarms, conducting armed patrols, monitoring access, and documenting security-related activity.

Requirements

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Satisfactory completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Any required state or local licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, assist with visitor management, and maintain awareness of activity around the facility.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities.
