About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed mobile patrol driver for a logistics and distribution location in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and reporting security-related concerns. The position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy. Officers are expected to provide outstanding customer service and communicate clearly while working with a reliable, integrity-focused team. The scheduled shifts are Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.29 per hour. Part-time employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations; escalate information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor pedestrian and vehicle activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor and contractor entries.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
