About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for patrol deterrence at an assigned site in Greencastle, Indiana. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back.

The posted base schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out security procedures, conducting unarmed patrols, responding to incidents and alarms, monitoring access and visitor activity, and documenting activity and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

• Access control and badge experience.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to company and site procedures.
