About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Deterrence in Red Oak, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location. This is an unarmed security role focused on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is full-time and follows a scheduled mix of weekday and weekend shifts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and other designated areas; identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site procedures; maintain accurate access and activity records as required.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document actions taken.
- Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
