As a Security Officer Full Time Retail Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support screening operations, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Minimum of 1 year of security related experience.
Guard card is required.
Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
