About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Screening in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and refer concerns to appropriate personnel.
Verify identification, issue visitor credentials as directed, maintain accurate entry records, and communicate access requirements professionally.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
