As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Tallahassee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, supporting access-control and badge processes, and monitoring entry points. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established access control and visitor management procedures.
  • Verify identification and credentials, maintain accurate entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry points, business areas, and the perimeter, as assigned.
