About The Position

Citadel Security USA is currently hiring a Full-Time Mobile Patrol Officer to support commercial properties throughout Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley, Colorado. This overnight position is responsible for conducting mobile security patrols, performing site inspections, documenting observations, and helping protect client property during non-business hours. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active throughout their shift, and maintaining a high level of situational awareness while traveling between multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance record
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong observation and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in mobile patrol, security, loss prevention, or related roles
  • Experience working around commercial, industrial, or mixed-use properties
  • Familiarity with electronic reporting platforms and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of patrol procedures, access control, and incident documentation
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to unexpected situations

Responsibilities

  • Travel between assigned client properties throughout the shift
  • Conduct scheduled patrol checks using a company patrol vehicle
  • Verify the security of doors, gates, fences, and other access points
  • Inspect parking areas, building exteriors, and surrounding grounds
  • Follow established patrol routes and site-specific instructions
  • Monitor locations for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, or theft concerns
  • Identify unsafe conditions, maintenance issues, or potential security risks
  • Maintain a professional and visible presence at each assigned property
  • Observe activity and take appropriate action in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist in preserving a safe and secure environment for clients and visitors
  • Prepare accurate patrol logs and incident reports
  • Document unusual activity, property concerns, and security-related events
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and operations personnel
  • Provide timely updates regarding incidents, emergencies, or site issues
  • Utilize company reporting systems and mobile technology as required
  • Operate patrol vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company driving policies
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report operational concerns
  • Maintain awareness of road conditions and travel routes throughout the coverage area
