About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Camden, Arkansas. The officer will safeguard the site and provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. The role requires an active armed guard card or license and an active DoD Secret Clearance.

The position pays $21.12 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Industry-specific security training is required. Licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state and local laws.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, unusual occurrences, and security-related observations.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
